Mobile Voting

The integration of blockchain mobile voting with blockchain identity has the potential to revolutionize elections. It promises a system that is faster, more accessible, and significantly more secure than traditional methods. Utah was actually the first state to use Mobile Blockchain Voting in a Presidential Election.

Easier Access

  • Universal Access: Mobile Voting allows Citizens to vote from anywhere, making it especially beneficial for those who might find it challenging to reach polling stations, such as the elderly, differently-abled, or those living abroad like our Military members
  • Convenience: Voting can be done at any time during the voting window, providing flexibility and eliminating the need to stand in long queues, or wait through bad weather. Voters can participate at any time during the voting window, offering unparalleled flexibility.
  • Inclusive Participation: By making voting more accessible, it can potentially increase voter turnout, ensuring a more representative outcome.

Faster Elections:

  • Instantaneous Tallying: Traditional vote counting can be time-consuming. With blockchain mobile voting, votes are added to the blockchain in real-time, allowing for almost instantaneous tallying once the voting period ends.
  • Elimination of Manual Processes: The need for manual vote counting, data entry, and other time-consuming processes is eliminated, speeding up the declaration of results.

Enhanced Election Security

  • Immutable Records: Once a vote is recorded on the blockchain, it cannot be altered, ensuring the integrity of each vote.
  • Blockchain Identity: By integrating blockchain-based identity verification into Mobile Voting, it ensures that only eligible voters can participate, and each person can vote only once. This minimizes the risk of voter impersonation or fraud.
  • Transparency and Auditability: All votes made through the mobile app on the blockchain are transparent and can be audited, ensuring public trust in the election process. At the same time, voter anonymity can be maintained.
  • Decentralization: Blockchain operates on a decentralized network of computers. This means there's no single point of failure, reducing the risk of large-scale manipulations or hacks.
  • Cryptography: Advanced cryptographic techniques ensure that data is secure and that votes remain confidential.

No Trees Used

In each election cycle, the United States cuts down approximately 30,000 trees just to do paper ballots in elections. That's about ~600 acres of trees to do voting each election or 660M kgCO2. Mobile voting uses 0 trees and is better for air quality.

Millions of Taxpayer Dollars Saved

The 2020 election cost American tax payers $14.4 million dollars. Mobile Voting costs approximately $0.00017 per vote meaning that an election could cost taxpayers less than $500,000.

Real Time Election Results

Today, it can take weeks for the results of an election to be finalized. With Mobile voting Voters would know the winners of elections instantly.
